The Challenge
Haines Watts were moving their Kettering office to a new state of the art premises and required an up to date and scalable telephony and data solution to match.
The previous location worked off ISDN lines and an on site PBX which suffered downtime on numerous occasions.
With this in mind they were looking for a large and stable link into their network, with business continuity if there was an on-site failure to route calls to another regional office.

Haines Watts needed a trusted provider to project manage moving their numbers from the incumbent supplier and the installation of the data link and hosted PBX at their new site.

The Solution
The ISDN lines and on-premises PBX have gone.
In their place Hosted Connections installed a 100mb fibre lease line with guaranteed quality of service. This provides the highest quality voice connectivity to the outside world utilising new desk-top colour screen VOIP phones.
The fibre lease line also services Haines Watts IT requirements, with Hosted Connections working closely with HW Technology throughout the installation process to ensure the project ran smoothly for all parties.
The final stage of the project took place over a weekend to avoid disruption, with user and admin training taking place on the Monday morning.
Business continuity is now in place with calls automatically diverting to a sister Haines Watts site in the event of the building being inaccessible.
The solution completely future proofs Haines Watts telephony and means the hassle of maintaining a hardware-based infrastructure's stripped away to reveal a much easier system to control.
